While watching season 2 of The Good Place, I realized how philosophically dense and mostly accurate the show had become. I did some research to see if the creator/writers were philosophers. They are not. However, they talk to philosophers. I was surprised by the lack of attention academics are giving the show. At the same time, I saw how my ethics students responded to The Good Place. This convinced me that if other philosophers were not going to comment on what is the most intelligent show on television, then I would.
